Over the years, VGX Pharmaceuticals has established itself as a leading developer and manufacturer of DNA plasmid-based vaccines and therapies. The Company has acquired extensive, vertically-integrated capabilities including SynCon™ DNA-based product candidates, the CELLECTRA® delivery device, and access to efficient cGMP manufacturing facilities. These capabilities constitute VGX Pharmaceuticals’ DNA Vaccines and Therapies Platform - a complete DNA Vaccines and Therapy development, delivery, and proliferation process - that enables the Company to consistently create products, from bench-to-IND filing, within 1 year. By April 2008, VGX expects to have created 10 products using its comprehensive Platform. VGX has already completed pre-clinical trials for 5 products within 1 year of conception: PENNVAX™-B, PENNVAX™-G, VGX-3100, VGX-3200, and VGX-3400. VGX has built a broad product pipeline based on new small molecules, therapeutic proteins and DNA plasmids, currently in multiple clinical and pre-clinical development stages. Individually, they stand alone as products like any other biopharmaceutical company’s, but together they attest to the power of VGX™’s DNA Vaccines and Therapies Platform.
